OV7 homes are built to 180-mile wind zones and all local residential building codes as dictated by individual state and local municipalities.
OV7 homes DO NOT have a metal frame (see “Building Specifications”) The foundation for an OV7 home is the same as any residential structure as determined by local codes. The attachment of an OV7 home to the foundation is the same as any residential structure as determined by local codes. Basements, crawlspace, pilings, piers, are fall common foundation types.
OV7 provides stamped engineered prints for each house; certified by each state, inspected by a third party agency with prints approved by local authorities when building permits are issued. This is over-and-above the OV7 internal inspection process, which includes inspection in 16 stations during production.
OV7 homes are EnergyStar® compliant, pending testing of the completed home by an independent testing agency.
